Save the date: Exhibition ‚Taumel der Tatsache‘

We have been in pandemic for a year now. It has not been an easy year for anyone, but it has been a year of growth and of withdrawing into oneself and working, moving forward with projects, ideas, among other things.

I have organized my catalog of works for sale (in progress), wrote some texts for magazines, make some interesting interviews in my blog Una tica en Berlín (only in spanish),created the design store in redbubble, moved forward with my photo project Maria Rapela Foto (Headshots, Portraits and Events) and experimented with animation.

And I have been planning an exhibition with a group of artists. We have postponed the date twice because of the pandemic. We all want people to be able to come to the gallery, which has not been possible in the last few months. But it seems to be clear now. And we hope to see you soon.

In this exhibition I will exhibit for the first time in a new area that is not directly painting. It will be a video installation and a mix between painting, animation, installation, photography. A huge challenge, that if it doesn’t turn out quite as I thought it would, at least it will have allowed me to launch myself into a new area of the visual arts.

Exposición de arte “Taumel der Tatsache“ algo así como tambaleo de la situación

Desde hace un año que estamos en pandemia. No ha sido un año fácil para nadie, pero mi ha sido un año de crecimiento y de replegarse en si misma, trabajar, avanzar con proyectos, ideas, entre otras cosas.

He creado mi catálogo de arte, con lista de precios actualizada, (aún no terminada).
He creado y colaborado con dos revistas en Costa Rica, textos que aún no han aparecido, también he iniciado una serie de entrevistas a artistas en mi blog Una tica en Berlín.
He creado una tienda online con diseños y postales en redbubble.
He avanzado con mi proyecto de fotografía de retratos, fotografía de obras de arte y eventos. Y he estado experimentado con animación.

Además he estado planeando una exposición con un grupo de artistas. Hemos pospuesto la fecha dos veces debido a la pandemia. Todas queremos que la gente pueda asistir a la galería, cosa que no ha sido posible en los últimos meses.
Pero al parecer ahora si está claro. Y esperamos verles pronto.

En esta exposición expondré por primera vez en un área nueva que no es directamente pintura. Será una videoinstalación, resultado de una investigación, donde intento mezclar pintura, animación, instalación, fotografía, entre otros. Un enorme reto, que si no sale del todo como pensaba, al menos me habrá permitido lanzarme en una nueva área de las artes visuales.
